Our hours for browsing & curbside pickup:
Tuesday - Friday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
We're happy to take orders by phone or email (books@amherstbooks.com; students please use buytextbooks@amherstbooks.com) or by telephone (413-256-1547) from 10:00 - 4:00, Tuesday through Friday, & 10:00 - 6:00 on Saturday; if no one picks up during those hours we’re sometimes overwhelmed, please try again in a few minutes. After hours please call again the next day, we are not listening to messages.
We will continue curbside pickup, we will deliver to local addresses one day a week, & will mail books for a small fee.
We truly believe that books & bookstores are essential—especially in times of crisis. If you would like to order a
book but have a financial hardship, please reach out to us via email & we will try our best to make accommodations.
